Project for Water Treatment Plants
We have produced high-quality panels with a large rubber seal and protection class iP65. The solution enables smooth data input and storage in the cloud via the customer’s app.
About the Customer: iNet Sensor GmbH is a measurement data management company that provides innovative concepts to agricultural and industrial sectors and acts as a bridge to Industry 4.0 with measurement technology and consistent data flow.
The Challenge
iNet Sensor GmbH needed panels to run their app in the high Chilean mountains – at 3000m altitude. The task wasn’t easy with the harsh mountain climate. In the summer, the temperature can go as high as 40℃ (104°F), and in the winter, temperatures drop down to -20℃ (-4°F).
Before choosing Chipsee’s PPC-A72-101-C, iNet Sensor GmbH engineers tested many different panels. The problem was that they were either too expensive or of unsatisfactory quality. Many of them were unsuitable for rough industrial use, too. Finally, the selection of panels supporting the Android operating system was limited.

The Solution
With Chipsee’s PPC-A72-101-C running the iNet Sensor app as the best choice, iNet Sensor GmbH has enabled its customers to assemble their own HMI images and charts through the interface without the need for additional software.
The app communicates with a PLC system, stores the data, and sends the archives to a cloud system. If necessary, the panel alerts the user via e-mail or SMS.

The Result
The iNet GmbH’s app now runs on about 250 panels as HMI. The cloud stores 1.5 billion measurement data from the app. The app downloads information from the cloud system, but it can also work without a cloud connection, with all the functions remaining intact.
Thanks to the front mounting with a large rubber seal, the product has the housing protection class iP65. The panels are not subject to wear due to weather conditions, enabling undisturbed monitoring and functioning of the entire system. This sturdiness has been especially convenient as the panels were mounted in a hardly reachable area in Chile, and as a result, it saved iNet Sensor’s customers money and effort.
“The possibility of discussing problems directly with the developers is very important to us. It is also important that the operating system image can be adapted to our requirements. Chipsee panels were clearly the best choice for iNet GmbH”.
