Industrial Pi Becomes a Smart Home Hub

Would you like to see the Industrial Pi transform into a smart home hub?

We have made a video that shows how IKEA TRÅDFRI smart bulbs can be controlled using a ConBee II USB adapter, and the Phoscon App installed on the Chipsee Industrial Pi. Take a look at it below:

As you can see, our Industrial Pi fits perfectly in smart home applications. It easily becomes the central hub of every automation, you only need the right protocol adapter. In this case ZigBee with the ConBee II.

If you watch the video, you’ll see that the ConBee II adapter is connected to one of the two USB ports on the Industrial Pi. Also, that we’re controlling the IKEA TRÅDFRI bulb over the Phoscon App interface.

Just think about this, in home automation projects you need a Raspberry Pi as a central hub, and then you need a tablet to control every other component. With the Industrial Pi, you have both devices in one.

Try it out at home, and let us know how it went.
