Hardware description
The PPC-A8-050-C has several expansion connectors on the back side – 2 USB 2.0 connectors, 1 LAN connector, 1 CAN connector, 2 RS485 connectors, and 2 RS232 connectors. It also features a 3.5mm audio connector.
Please note that a WiFi/BT USB dongle can be added.
The CAN, RS485, RS232 connector is a 12 Pin 3.81mm screw terminal connector (as you can see from the image).
Since this display has 4 UART channels, they can be configured as RS232 or RS485. Please contact us if you require a different configuration.
The speed of the RS232 and the RS485 port is up to 115200 Baud.
The PPC-A8-050-C has one channel 100Mb Ethernet port and one TF (uSD) card connector. This device supports a TF card up to 32GB.
When it comes to audio capabilities, the PPC-A8-050-C has one 3.5mm Output/input connector and a 2W internal speaker.
The typical power consumption is 3.5W.
PPC-A8-050-C features a 5’’ display with an 800*480 pixel resolution, and a 5-point capacitive touch screen. 5-point capacitive touchscreens offer a stable and accurate control over the device, as well as great image clarity.
When it comes to the viewing angle, the screen offers various angles: top, bottom, left, and right view.
