The EPC-A8-080-R (PN CS80600T080E) is a high-quality industrial embedded computer, that features an 8-inch LCD with resistive touchscreen, an ARM Cortex-A8 processor with 512MB DDR3 RAM and 4GB eMMC Flash, 100Mb Ethernet, 4 USB 2.0 ports, 1 CAN port, 2 RS232, 2 RS485 ports, as well as a 3.5mm audio connector.
The EPC-A8-080-R has several expansion connectors on the backside – 4 USB 2.0 connectors, 1 LAN connector, 1 CAN connector, 2 RS485 connectors, and 2 RS232 connectors. It also features a 3.5mm audio connector.
Please note that a WiFi/BT module and a 3G module don’t come with the product by default, but can be added. Use the menu in the top right corner of the product page to add these modules if you need them.
The CAN, RS485, and RS232 connector is a 12 Pin 3.81mm screw terminal connector (as you can see from the image).
The speed of the RS232 and the RS485 port is up to 115200 Baud. The EPC-A8-080-R has one channel 100Mb Ethernet port and one TF (uSD) card connector. This device supports a TF card of up to 32GB.
When it comes to audio capabilities, the EPC-A8-080-R has one 3.5mm Output/input connector and a 2W internal speaker.
The typical power consumption is 6W.
EPC-A8-080-R features an 8’’resistive display with an 800×600 pixel resolution and brightness of 250 nits.
When it comes to the viewing angle, the screen offers various angles: top, bottom, left, and right view.

The microprocessor unit (MPU) subsystem is based on the ARM Cortex-A8 processor and the PowerVR SGX™ Graphics Accelerator subsystem provides 3D graphics acceleration to support display and gaming effects.
