Hardware features
The PPC-A8-104-P has several expansion connectors on the back side – 4 USB 2.0 connectors, 1 LAN connector, 1 CAN connector, 2 RS485 connectors, and 2 RS232 connectors. It also features a 3.5mm audio connector.

The CAN, RS485, RS232 connector is a 12 Pin 3.81mm screw terminal connector (as you can see from the image).
The speed of the RS232 and the RS485 port is up to 115200 Baud.
The PPC-A8-104-P has one channel 100Mb Ethernet port and one TF (uSD) card connector. This device supports a TF card up to 32GB.
When it comes to audio capabilities, the PPC-A8-104-P has one 3.5mm Output/input connector and a 2W internal speaker.
The typical power consumption is 7W.

This product features the CS-SOM335X-V3 System-on-Module, based on the AM3354 ARM Cortex-A8 processor.
The AM3354 microprocessor is enhanced with image, graphics processing, peripherals and industrial interface options such as EtherCAT and PROFIBUS. The devices support high-level operating systems (HLOS).
The microprocessor unit (MPU) subsystem is based on the ARM Cortex-A8 processor and the PowerVR SGX™ Graphics Accelerator subsystem provides 3D graphics acceleration to support display and gaming effects.

Display and Touchscreen
PPC-A8-104-P features a 10.4’’ resistive display with a 800×600 pixel resolution, and brightness of 250 nits.
When it comes to the viewing angle, the screen offers various angles: top, bottom, left, and right view.
