Out of the box, the PPC-A55-190 has four UART channels, expandable up to six. The standard configuration includes two RS232, two RS485 channels, and one RS232 debug port. Additionally, the two CAN interfaces can be reconfigured as RS232 ports. The flexibility to switch between RS232 and RS485 modes, as well as the ability to alter default settings, adds to the versatility of this device.
For wireless communication, the PPC-A55-190 comes with an integrated WiFi/Bluetooth module. There is also an option to add a 4G/LTE module during the ordering process for enhanced connectivity.
