Hardware description
The PPC-J1900-236-C has several expansion connectors on the back side:
- three USB 2.0 connectors
- a USB 3.0 connector
- two LAN connectors
- four COM connectors (the four RS232 connectors by default; on top of which you can add COM1 and COM2 as optional RS485 connectors)
- an HDMI connector, and
- eight GPIO connectors
The WiFi module does not come with the product by default. It is an optional module and can be added when ordering.
A 4G/LTE module can be added to the product, but we do not currently offer it in our shop. We recommend you buy it locally, and install it yourself, as it’s quite easy to add.
The 16 Pin 3.81mm screw terminal connector includes 8 GPIO and 2 RS232.

Performances and reliability
The PPC-J1900-236-C Industrial Panel PC is powered by Intel® Celeron® J1900 quad-core CPU and is equipped with a broad range of connectivity options, allowing it to meet highly demanding application requirements in harsh industrial or outdoor environments.
A specially designed magnesium-aluminum alloy housing with fins for increased heat dissipation serves as a passive cooler, eliminating the need for built-in fans. The fan-less design reduces noise, as well as the maintenance costs and efforts, increasing reliability at the same time.
Multiple OS choices
The unit ships with Ubuntu 20.04 pre-installed but offers the flexibility to opt for Windows 7 or Windows 10 through a simple selection of the desired OS during purchase. Please note that opting for Windows 7 and Windows 10 will incur an additional charge of $40 and $50 respectively.
