Hardware description
The PPC-A53-070 is a high-quality industrial panel PC. It is ready to deploy industrial applications based on the NXP i.MX8MP that integrates Quad(4)-core Cortex-A53 (1.6GHz). It features a 5-point capacitive touch screen with a 1024×600 resolution and 400 NIT brightness. WiFi/BT is integrated while the 4G/LTE module is optional.
The PPC-A53-070 supports panel and 75mm VESA mounting methods.
Various connectivity options include USB, LAN, HDMI, RS232, RS485, CAN, and GPIO. The PPC-A53-070 has 3 x CPU UART, 2 x USB UART, 6 x UART channels at most. The default configuration is 2 x RS232 and 3 x RS485, including 1 RS232 debug port. There is 1 x CAN that can be configured to RS232 (USB UART). The default settings can be changed.

NXP i.MX8MP – The industrial powerhouse
The NXP i.MX8MP features a quad Arm® Cortex®-A53 processor tailored to industry standards. It includes a Neural Processing Unit (NPU) with up to 2.3 TOPS, enabling advanced processing. This chip supports robust multimedia capabilities, including h.265/4, VP9, VP8 video encoding/decoding, 3D/2D graphic acceleration, and diverse audio and voice functionalities. It also offers dual CAN FD and dual Gigabit Ethernet with Time Sensitive Networking (TSN) for efficient network control. Additionally, its industrial reliability is enhanced by DRAM inline ECC, ensuring data integrity in demanding applications.
