Hardware description
PPC-J1900-190-R features multiple expansion connectors on the backside including:
- 3 x USB 2.0 connectors;
- 1 x USB 3.0 connector;
- 2 x LAN connector and
- 6 x COM connectors (4 x RS232 and 2 x RS485).
GPIO and VGA connectors are not supported.
The default RAM is 4GB, expandable up to 8GB using DDR3L 1333 SO-DIMM.
WiFi/BT and 4G/LTE modules are optional and can be added during the ordering process. The device has one mini PCIe slot which can be used for either a WiFi or a 4G module. If both are required, a 4G module will be installed in the mini PCIe slot and a WiFi module will be provided via USB.

The PPC-J1900-190-R Industrial Panel PC is powered by Intel® Celeron® J1900 quad-core CPU and equipped with a broad range of connectivity options, allowing it to meet highly demanding application requirements in harsh industrial or outdoor environments.
A specially designed magnesium-aluminum alloy housing with fins for increased heat dissipation serves as a passive cooler, eliminating the need for built-in fans. The fan-less design reduces noise, as well as the maintenance costs and efforts, increasing reliability at the same time.
Multiple Operating Systems Support
The unit comes with Ubuntu pre-installed, catering to users who prefer an open-source environment. However, for those requiring a Windows operating system, there is an option to select Windows 7, Windows 8 or Windows 10 at the time of purchase. Choosing Windows 7 and Windows 8 will incur an additional cost of $40 while Windows 10 adds $50 to the total price.
