Hardware description
The PPC-J6412-190-R boasts a versatile backplane, equipped with:
- 4 USB 3.0 ports
- Dual Ethernet LAN ports
- 6 UART interfaces, including configurable RS232/RS485 options
- HDMI Output
- Modular Wireless Connectivity
By default, the unit does not include a WiFi module. However, this feature can be added at the time of purchase. Additionally, the unit is equipped with a dedicated slot for 4G/LTE capabilities, with the module available for purchase from other retailers.
Versatile Communication Interfaces
The PPC-J6412-190-R also offers versatile communication interfaces. It includes two 9-pin D-sub connectors (COM1 and COM2) as well as a 16-pin 3.81mm connector with a pluggable terminal block for easy installation and maintenance. The 16-pin are COM ports (COM3, COM4, COM5 and COM6). COM1, COM2, COM3, and COM4 are RS232 ports while COM5 and COM6 are configured as RS485 by default but can be set up for RS232 protocols if needed.
