Hardware description
The PPC-A72-150 has several expansion connectors on the backside – 1 USB 2.0 connector, 1 USB 3.0 connector, 1 Type-C connector, 1 LAN connector, and 6 channels of RS232 and RS485 connectors. It also has one channel 1Gb Ethernet port and one TF (uSD) card connector supporting a TF card of up to 32GB.Â
The WiFi/Bluetooth module is based on the Realtek RTL8723BU an 802.11bgn 2.4G single-chip that integrates Wireless LAN (WLAN) and a network USB interface (USB 1.0/1.1/2.0 compatible) controller with an integrated Bluetooth 2.1/3.0/4.0 controller. It combines a WLAN MAC, a 1T1R capable WLAN baseband, and WLAN RF in a single chip.Â
The speed of the RS232 and the RS485 port is up to 115200 Baud.Â
The PPC-A72-150 has a 15’’ 10-point capacitive touch screen, with a 1024×768 resolution, that enables stable and accurate control over the device.  Â
Capacitive touchscreens are very durable and resistant to environmental contaminants like dust and water. These types of screens work best with either a finger or a stylus with a conductive tip.Â

This product features the Rockchip RK3399, an ARM dual Cortex-A72 (1.8GHz) plus Quad Cortex-A53 (1.4GHz) high performance and ultra-efficient processor that implements the ARM v8-A architecture. The fast processing of Cortex-A72 is particularly suited to mobile applications.Â
This processor supports the following features: advanced single instruction multiple data (SIMD) operations, floating-point operations, and optional cryptography extension.
