Hardware description
The PPC-A53-070 is a high-quality industrial panel PC. It is ready to deploy industrial applications based on the NXP i.MX8MP that integrates Quad(4)-core Cortex-A53 (1.6GHz). It features a 5-point capacitive touch screen with a 1024×600 resolution and 400 NIT brightness. WiFi/BT is integrated while the 4G/LTE module is optional.
The PPC-A53-070 supports panel and 75mm VESA mounting methods.
Various connectivity options include USB, LAN, HDMI, RS232, RS485, CAN, and GPIO. The PPC-A53-070 has 3 x CPU UART, 2 x USB UART, 6 x UART channels at most. The default configuration is 2 x RS232 and 3 x RS485, including 1 RS232 debug port. There is 1 x CAN that can be configured to RS232 (USB UART). The default settings can be changed.

Performances and reliability
The PPC-A53-070 Industrial Panel PC is based on the NXP i.MX8MP chip designed to meet industry standards. The chip features a powerful quad or dual Arm® Cortex®-A53 processor with a Neural Processing Unit (NPU) operating at up to 2.3 TOPS. The multimedia capabilities include video encoding (including h.265) and decoding 3D/2D graphic acceleration, and multiple audio and voice functionalities. Robust control networks are supported by dual CAN FD and dual Gigabit Ethernet with Time Sensitive Networking (TSN). It is also famous for its high industrial reliability with DRAM inline ECC.
Operating system
The PPC-A53-070 supports only Yocto Linux Qt 6.3 for the time being. Android 12 should be released soon.
